Shanghai Mars Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. ("MARS", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data this website collects, why, and your rights. It applies to www.electrical-equipment-factory.com.

What we collect

Enquiry forms. When you send an enquiry, quotation request or newsletter subscription we receive the details you type — name, email, company, phone, country and message — together with the page you sent it from, the time and your IP address (used only for spam and abuse prevention). This information is emailed to our sales engineers and stored on our web server and in our email system so we can answer you.

Quote list and comparison. Products you add to the quote list or comparison are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us until you submit the quote form.

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and operations, typically for 30 days.

No tracking. This site does not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, third-party fonts or embedded social widgets. It sets no cookies. Because nothing is tracked, there is no cookie banner.

How we use your data

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and — if you subscribed — send you a notice when a new technical guide is published. We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the site (hosting, email) and with our logistics partners when you place an order.

Legal basis and retention

We process enquiry data on the basis of your request (pre-contractual steps) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet accounting and export-documentation obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You may ask what personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw newsletter consent. Write to inquiry@electrical-equipment-factory.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated, rate-limited and stored in a directory that is not web-accessible. Access to enquiry data is limited to staff who need it.
