MARS builds metal-clad withdrawable MV switchgear (KYN28A-12, KYN61-40.5) to IEC 62271-200, SF6 and solid-insulated ring main units to IEC 62271-200/-103, and fixed or withdrawable low-voltage switchboards (GGD, GCS, GCK, MNS) to IEC 61439-1/-2 — with vacuum or SF6 circuit breakers, protection relays, metering and busbar systems to 4,000 A. Panels are assembled and wired at dedicated stations and dielectric, mechanical-operation and IP tested cabinet by cabinet.
Read RMU vs metal-clad switchgear or see a representative 11 kV commercial lineup.
An RMU is a compact, sealed, largely maintenance-free unit for 2–5 circuits with load-break switches and a fused or breaker transformer feeder — right for distribution networks and compact substations. Metal-clad switchgear is for primary distribution with many feeders, high fault levels, full relay protection and future extension.
Vacuum circuit breakers (VD4-type or equivalent Chinese-made) as standard at MV; ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Chint or Delixi ACBs and MCCBs at LV — the brand is specified by the buyer.
Designs are type-tested to IEC 62271-200 and IEC 61439 with internal-arc classification; test certificates are provided with the offer. Every production panel is routine-tested for dielectric withstand, mechanical operation, wiring and IP.
Lineups are shipped in transport units of 2–4 panels with busbar links, packed in fumigation-free crates; reassembly on site is by bolted busbar joints with torque-marked connections.
